Everyone is their own hypocrite in a way.
Your looking at someone… everyone in their heads always makes a conclusion on what the life style, background, job and personality of that person is when they see people for the first time. It’s a human reaction.

About a week ago I was sitting in class and we had gotten a new student. He had just arrived from India and was smart as hell! Of course people were taking advantage of the guy I mean he had just come from a different country, had a different accent and brains beyond our peanut sized comprehension. I am speaking honestly…I didn’t really like him and I guess the reason was because he intimidated me a little. Here is this kid that comes in and has totally got his act together he knows what he is doing and is very intelligent. Right then I realized that no matter how much you deny it, conclusions will be made at first sight.

Some people live their lives following and approaching people based on what they have heard or simple hate for someone for some stupid reason like gender, race and age. About two years ago some policeman were arrested for shooting am African American man 40 times because they claimed “he looked like a man they had been searching for.” Now tell me if you are a trained policeman and you see a man that looks like a person you are looking for do you not handcuff him and take him to police head quarters. They said he was pulling something out of his pocket so all four of them pulled their triggers as a form of “self defence”( I’m sure, 4 policemen against 1 unarmed man). You want to know what it ended up being? He was pulling out his wallet to show them his drivers licence so they could identify him. This might a be a lil of topic but just thought you should know how bad the situation is when you judge to fast….or draw conclusions without seeing and thinking.

I just hate the fact that when other people “Preach” about how the world needs to gain the concept of equality and not to hate or judge someone for what they are. This is true and I totally agree I know I should really stop and a lot of others should to. The only problem is these same people I have noticed from talking to them state that in their culture or religion homosexuality, divorce, love marriages etc are looked down upon as committing a sin or are just not tolerated. Arggg how can people be so blind to what they are saying. It’s all really messed up.

Sorry this update is really long….but I just had to get it out…but honestly I am not really intrested in preachers who teach others not to do one thing but turn around and do and act in a manner that totally make them look like the number one asses in the world.

I was just thinking. These days it seems that more crimes have been commited than they would have 100 years ago and so on. As we all know what happens with criminals these days are they are sent to jail to serve their time...it either brakes them or shapes what they become. I was thinking about how back when England didn't knwo what to do with their inmates and sent them to an unknown island soon to be named Australia...look how that turned out. It is now a very well oiled machine, voted one of the safest countries. I just think that maybe instead of locking people away hoping they will realize the consequences of their crimes, they shoudl be put some where and forced to start over by themselves entirely and work from there. Teaching them that you don't do something and get away with it.

Now I don't mean something like probation where you can be under house arrest because their you are still relying on your family. It's the best when you have to do it all by yourself. I know this all sounds really weird but I am tired of seeing people walk for some terrible crimes and only have to pay mere thousands.

And plus in prison the criminals themselves in some events have been assaulted and have had violence brought upon them, which ofcourse is enhancing their opinion that violence solves problems.

That just a thought I had.... :) tell me yours on it all

Isn't it the most upsetting thing when everyone you know and talk to knows where their going in life....and has a plan. Like all you TIG members you all seem to know what you want to do...either it be job wise or helping out to make the future better.

Then here you are just standing in a spot where time seems to have stopped and you can't get your head to gain the ability to reassure yourself that you will come out of this slump soon enough.

just wondering if anyone understands what I'm talking about

Here I was thinking I had heard all my ears could take on the subject of torture

Hey guys today I was chatting with my friend Anja who is a Muslim from Bosnia. She talked to me about how women were treated in the war of 1992 in former Yugoslavia. As ashamed as I am to say this I didn't really believe her...I mean what she was telling me about " town cleansing" rapes and beatings it just all sounded like something you would here about how Nazi soldiers treated people of Jewish descent. I wanted to look into it more so I did some research and turns out it was all true.

There have been several witnesses against ethnic Serb soldiers. Not to long ago three soldiers were prosecuted, for being leaders of a group which took women that varied in ages from 30's to the youngest witness that has come forward who was 12 at the time she had been raped. Some men who were taken from their homes with no reason had reported "group beatings" where the guards would play loud music and beat people so hard that the wounds eventually altered skin colors to an extent where the victims would bleed for days on end.

Being a part of the female race I am mortified at the fact that this is happening. I also learned that in Afghanistan women are treated like pieces of meat. Some girls do everything in their means to avoid walking to school in fear of being exploited in the worst way.

In conclusion all I can say is....the only good thing about the enemy, is that they hold the power to let women step and fight on the same level because of patriotism for their country and culture as men are able to.

Although in some cases the enemy along with those who are to protect them just bring women down to a level where humanity diminishes because of sex and race. Your existence is changed from a person with a name and a life to a body used only for evil to be forced upon which erases any sign of individuality, but leaves in its place a person that is stuck to compromise their beliefs for their lives.

1 excuse- "weapon of war'(their excuse for raping and abusing woman for 2 years) GIVE ME A F***ing break
